SHANNON BROWN SHANNON BROWN
In 2011, Cross Training welcomed to the stage Los Angeles Lakers guard, Shannon Brown. Brown was selected in the 1st round of the 2006 NBA Draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers and is best known for his incredible vertical leap.
TY LAWSON TY LAWSON
In 2010, Cross Training welcomed standout point guard, Ty Lawson, of the Denver Nuggets, to the court. Lawson was drafted as the 18th overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft, and was immediately traded to the Nuggets. Lawson was named the ACC Player of the Year while playing for the University of North Carolina from 2006 to 2009.
MIKE MILLER MIKE MILLER
In 2002, Mike Miller was the first NBA player to be a part of Cross Training's Overnight Extreme basketball camp. At the time, Miller was a standout player for the Orlando Magic and had received the award of "Rookie of the Year" from the league. Miller now plays for the Miami Heat and is an instrumental player in their success.
SPUD WEBB SPUD WEBB
The history maker himself, Spud Webb, was Cross Training's 2005 Overnight Extreme NBA guest. Webb is most notable for winning the 1986 slam dunk contest despite being one of the shortest players in the history of the league. Webb is now the President of Operations for the D-League, Texas Legends
MEADOWLARK LEMON MEADOWLARK LEMON
The "Clown Prince of Basketball" graced Cross Training with his presence at their 2006 Overnight Extreme basketball camp. The legend himself, Meadowlark Lemon, was the most popular member of the most beloved sports teams in history - the Harlem Globetrotters.
A.C. GREEN A.C. GREEN
The legendary, A.C. Green, was Cross Training's 2004 NBA guest. Green spent 16 seasons in the NBA, and won three championships with the Los Angeles Lakers. He is well-known as the NBA's Iron Man, having played in 1,192 straight games.
RICK BARRY RICK BARRY
Hall of Fame legend, Rick Barry, was the Top100 NBA guest for Cross Training in 2004. Barry was named one of the "50 Greatest Players" in history by the NBA in 1996. He is best known for his unorthodox but accurate underhanded free throw.
TIM GROVER TIM GROVER
As a professional trainer to some of the biggest names in the basketball industry, Tim Grover, made a special appearance to Cross Training's 2001 Top100 basketball camp. Grover's past clientele includes Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Charles Barkley and Hakeem Olajuwon. His current clients include Kobe Bryant and Dwyane Wade.
DAN DICKAU DAN DICKAU
After being named a first team All-American his senior year at Gonzaga, Dan Dickau made his first appearance to Cross Training as a guest for their Top100 camp in 2002. Dickau was drafted then drafted that same year by the Sacramento Kings, and continues to play Internationally and now in the D-League.
DARRELL ARMSTRONG DARRELL ARMSTRONG
In 2003, Cross Training brought in Darrell Armstrong from the Dallas Mavericks, as their Overnight Extreme NBA guest. Armstrong played 14 seasons in the league and is currently an assistant coach for the Mavericks, who won the championship in 2010-2011.
DAHNTAY JONES DAHNTAY JONES
Hidden amongst a huddle of Cross Training campers is Indiana Pacers forward, Dahntay Jones. Formerly of the Denver Nuggets, Jones signed a contract to play with the Pacers just six days before coming to camp.
ADRIAN BRANCH ADRIAN BRANCH
Adrian Branch, fomerly of the Los Angeles Lakers, has made two different appearances at Cross Training. Branch played a reserve role with the Lakers when they won the NBA Championship in 1987. You will now find Branch as a television color analyst for the Charlotte Bobcats games. He also appears on ESPN as a college basketball analyst.
KEVIN BURLESON KEVIN BURLESON
As a rookie in the league, Kevin Burleson made his first appearance to Cross Training in 2006. He was an absolute camp favorite and spent the entire day interacting with the kids. Burleson is currently playing in the NBA D-League in Idaho.
