Urban Meyer
It was an honor and a privilege to welcome Urban Meyer to the 2019 Champions Banquet. Not only did Urban take time with our guests as the keynote speaker, but also addressed 120 football coaches from across the state in a Q&A session before hand. Meyer is one of only three coaches to win a major college football national championship at two different universities (University of Florida and Ohio State).

Hamidou Diallo
Fresh off his NBA Slam Dunk Championship in 2019, was our NBA guest, Hamidou Diallo, of the Oklahoma City Thunder. He tore the roof off the place as he brought some his craziest hops to the Cross Training Overnight Extreme Slam Dunk Contest. This was a sight to remember! Needless to say, no one got close to beating him. Great athlete and incredible with the kids!

Emmitt Smith
Three-time Super Bowl Champion and the NFL's Leading Rusher, Emmitt Smith, was our 2018 Champions Banquet keynote speaker. This once in a lifetime opportunity for Cross Training families and supporters was a night to remember. Smith is the only running back to ever win a Super Bowl championship, the NFL Most Valuable Player award, the NFL rushing crown, and the Super Bowl Most Valuable Player award all in the same season. He was also inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2010 and the College Football Hall of Fame in 2006. It was an honor to have you Emmitt!

Quinn Cook
Fresh off his National Championship with the Golden State Warriors, Quinn Cook, former Duke Blue Devil, was our 2018 NBA Overnight Extreme guest of honor. We had so much fun with Quinn! After several Q&A sessions, autograph signings and judging our Slam Dunk Contest, he still took time to play all of the 5th graders one-on-one.

Jamal Murray
After just one season with the Kentucky Wildcats, freshman, Jamal Murray entered the league as the 7th overall pick in the 2016 NBA draft. His rookie year, he was named MVP of the Rising Stars Challenge and 5 months later came to Overnight Extreme as our guest of honor. Jamal not only jumped into every drill with the kids, but also played each court one on twenty! It was quite a site.

Shaun Livingston
In 2016, Cross Training had the incredible privilege to bring in Golden State Warrior, Shaun Livingston. He was a fan favorite! Shaun not only showcased his skills but also took time to play one-on-one, lightning, contest of the day and fun drills with our athletes. After visiting, Shaun went on to win two more National Championships with the Warriors making that three Championship rings for him. He is a legend in the game and we can't wait to have him back someday!

Michael Carter Williams
Just fresh to the Milwaukee Bucks, Michael Carter Williams was our 2015 Overnight Extreme NBA guest. Michael was drafted in the first round with the 11th overall pick in the 2013 NBA draft by the Philadelphia 76ers, after playing college basketball for the Syracuse Orange. He was also named NBA Rookie of the Year in 2014. We loved our time with Michael. He was phenomenal on and off the court and one of the most humble players you will meet!

Muggsy Bogues
Our guest of honor for our 2014 Overnight Extreme camp was none other than the legend, Muggsy Bogues. He may be the smallest player in NBA history, but what a HUGE impact he made in the league and coaching on the floor at Cross Training. We even re-lived his "Space Jam" days!

James Jones
In 2013, we had the privilege of bringing in NBA standout shooter, James Jones, from the World Champions, Miami Heat. Jones was amazing with the kids and even stayed up late just shootin' the breeze with coaches. He was an absolute treat to have at Overnight Extreme.

Chris Duhon
In 2012, we welcomed LA Lakers guard and former Duke Blue Devil, Chris Duhon to the court. Duhon was our guest of honor at our Overnight Extreme camp. He absolutely won the kids over with his amazing stories and great personality. We would love to have him back again in the future!

Shannon Brown
In 2011, Cross Training welcomed to the stage Los Angeles Lakers guard, Shannon Brown. Brown was selected in the 1st round of the 2006 NBA Draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers and is best known for his incredible vertical leap.

Ty Lawson
In 2010, Cross Training welcomed standout point guard, Ty Lawson, of the Denver Nuggets, to the court. Lawson was drafted as the 18th overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft, and was immediately traded to the Nuggets. Lawson was named the ACC Player of the Year while playing for the University of North Carolina from 2006 to 2009.

Mike Miller
In 2002, Mike Miller was the first NBA player to be a part of Cross Training's Overnight Extreme basketball camp. At the time, Miller was a standout player for the Orlando Magic and had received the award of "Rookie of the Year" from the league. Miller now plays for the Miami Heat and is an instrumental player in their success.

Spud Webb
The history maker himself, Spud Webb, was Cross Training's 2005 Overnight Extreme NBA guest. Webb is most notable for winning the 1986 slam dunk contest despite being one of the shortest players in the history of the league. Webb is now the President of Operations for the D-League, Texas Legends

Meadowlark Lemon
The "Clown Prince of Basketball" graced Cross Training with his presence at their 2006 Overnight Extreme basketball camp. The legend himself, Meadowlark Lemon, was the most popular member of the most beloved sports teams in history - the Harlem Globetrotters.

A.C. Green
The legendary, A.C. Green, was Cross Training's 2004 NBA guest. Green spent 16 seasons in the NBA, and won three championships with the Los Angeles Lakers. He is well-known as the NBA's Iron Man, having played in 1,192 straight games.

Rick Barry
Hall of Fame legend, Rick Barry, was the Top100 NBA guest for Cross Training in 2004. Barry was named one of the "50 Greatest Players" in history by the NBA in 1996. He is best known for his unorthodox but accurate underhanded free throw.

Tim Grover
As a professional trainer to some of the biggest names in the basketball industry, Tim Grover, made a special appearance to Cross Training's 2001 Top100 basketball camp. Grover's past clientele includes Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Charles Barkley and Hakeem Olajuwon. His current clients include Kobe Bryant and Dwyane Wade.

Dan Dickau
After being named a first team All-American his senior year at Gonzaga, Dan Dickau made his first appearance to Cross Training as a guest for their Top100 camp in 2002. Dickau was drafted then drafted that same year by the Sacramento Kings, and continues to play Internationally and now in the D-League.

Darrell Armstrong
In 2003, Cross Training brought in Darrell Armstrong from the Dallas Mavericks, as their Overnight Extreme NBA guest. Armstrong played 14 seasons in the league and is currently an assistant coach for the Mavericks, who won the championship in 2010-2011.

Dahnthay Jones
Hidden amongst a huddle of Cross Training campers is Indiana Pacers forward, Dahntay Jones. Formerly of the Denver Nuggets, Jones signed a contract to play with the Pacers just six days before coming to camp.

Adrian Branch
Adrian Branch, fomerly of the Los Angeles Lakers, has made two different appearances at Cross Training. Branch played a reserve role with the Lakers when they won the NBA Championship in 1987. You will now find Branch as a television color analyst for the Charlotte Bobcats games. He also appears on ESPN as a college basketball analyst.

Kevin Burleson
As a rookie in the league, Kevin Burleson made his first appearance to Cross Training in 2006. He was an absolute camp favorite and spent the entire day interacting with the kids. Burleson is currently playing in the NBA D-League in Idaho.
